Waharaka Thero as an Compassionater

Venerable thero’s compassion is in the perfect lead. Because in every single step I have sense… of course I am sure many others too have sense that how perfectly he is spreading his compassion without any attachment towards anyone or anything.

Sharing noble dhamma…

When he is severely ill, he never say I am sick and tired so I can’t explain dhamma… even as a patient he is preaching to the hospital staff when ever asked dhamma questions. He always say dhamma is the medicine and it makes me feel good not sick, with a smile on his face. His main concern is to support many as possible in each possible way to show the trap and solution.  

Creating the nature of gratitude…

Venerable thero always says there is no compassion without wisdom. Many might have criticize the offerings or other kind of chanting or such meritorious practices towards noble triple gem. But that shows the missing wisdom on them. Because both the wisdom & compassion grows together. It has a perfect bond. That’s why even Lord Samma Sambuddha recommended to do the meritorious activities.

Healing mind & body…

It’s not only medicine for the mind it’s for the body too. Venerable thero has some special spiritual powers which achieved through the meditation and he is supporting others with those abilities. He is not involved directly and he guide others who interest on the subject to do it in the correct way. Again noble thero explains how it is so normal to be sick as a being who born in this existence and what we should concentrate on not to be born again as that’s the main sickness which one should cure without a delay.

When you are compassionate…

When people experience the power of noble triple gem through some meritorious activities or some worldly support given through the spiritual development those who are intelligent enough to think deeply feels like being with the person who makes them feels good. That is what lead to the noble friendship which they should have to arise their wisdom. They will gain a friend in deed and friend in need through these kind of process. And that’s the friend who let them find the treasure of noble triple gem and its deepness through their noble friendship!  

So compassion leads to wisdom... wisdom leads to compassion... it's connected...!!!
